Saw two yesterday. Am in Boise on business. I think it is awesome that they get to ride around on such a great bike all day.

Right. There are two places on my daily commute on the Interstate where they sit waiting to give performance awards. That knowledge, plus my Valentine One, lets me ride by at a legal speed and give them a wave. They always wave back.

Oro Valley, AZ police also ride them. They used to wave but not anymore. The Chief sent out a Directive to stop waving at bikers. I guess he did not want any fraternizing with the likes of us. Too bad.

The RTs have been used for years and years here in CA by the CHP and most locals now too. The latest here I've seen is the new HONDA 1300 "sewing machine"(we used to call it, so smooth) bike, many PDs are going with this past year. Some still ride new HDs, like San Fransisco PD and a few others. A Classic! Randy
