I always said if I got a bike, it would be a BMW. Years went by but I just did. A few weeks ago it wasn't even something I would have said was going to happen next year or the year after. I just woke up and decided it was time.

I picked up a R 1200 RT and I am loving it. 650 miles in the first week--which was a pretty busy week.

Don't know what else to say.

Advice is always welcome. It is my first bike.

WOW is all I can say! You picked the best Sport Touring Bike in the world for your first ever bike! Excellent choice. You will find answers for any question you might have here on the forum - when you get a chance, figure out out to post a picture. Welcome.

Thanks for the invite, Kevin. Unfortunately, I will not be returning from a business trip until Thursday evening so won't be able to make it. Next time!
