Convoluted acronym

35634

Mars needs women!
Stopped at a rest stop on I-76 in Ohio last night. On the door there was a sticker with
a picture of a biker the said: ride SAFETY (Sober, Alert, Full Equipment and Training)
There was nothing for the 'Y'. I was so distracted by this lack of acronym etiquette
that after I finished my beer I forgot my helmet and zoomed back on the highway
into oncoming traffic!

I guess they figured SAFE T is pronounced like SAFETY?? and ride FEATS or ride FETAS didn't have the same panache. :)

It's possible they are actually brilliant and realized that leaving a letter out would keep you thinking about it, and maybe have you telling your friends about it. :p
