I'll qualify my awesome vote as this was my 18th National and I know what to expect. YMMV.
19 BMWMOA Nationals under my belt, and I have no idea what I am doing.

Go soothingly through the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

biggest problem for me when traveling with the lady, especially in the midwest and south; no vegetarian food

i also think about 20 lbs of me was biscuits and gravy upon my return home.

Beef and Pork are processed vegetables. When I was growing up around here (near the rally location) many years ago, I would have starved with out biscuits and gravy for breakfast as well as beans, taters and cornbread for dinner (lunch to you) and supper (dinner to you).
'You can say what you want about the South, but I almost never hear of anyone wanting to retire to the North.
