For the 14th year in a row, the Sacramento-based River City Beemers BMW Motorcycle club are conducting a Rider Skills Improvement Day at Thunderhill Race Park in northern California. This year's event will be on Sunday, September 20th, 2009.
Participation is limited to riders of BMW Motorcycles, or members of MOA chartered BMW motorcycle clubs or guests, riding any street legal, licensed, insured and quiet motorcycles. No Race Bikes.
There are three levels of participation:
  • Introduction class - First Time or Conservative Track Riders. Separate classes and track sessions. Lots of instruction, and ride only with your peers for most of the day.
  • Experienced Class - Experienced Riders seeking to improve their skills.
  • Advanced Class - Skilled Sport Riders and Repeat Track attendees - No instruction.
Regardless of class and desired instruction, the fee is only $195 for RCB members and $220 for guests. After August 31, the fee rises to $220 for everyone.
