Removing VIN coded locks from saddlebags?

Tried a search, came up with nada.
Bought Caribou cases, want to sell my factory Vario cases, but would like to sell them without the VIN coded lock cylinders. I suspect it will be much easier for me to get them out with use of my key than it will be for the new owner without the key.
what is the procedure?
Anyone want to buy a set of lightly used Vario cases with mounts for a F800GS?

I think those are similar to the R12GS vario bags. If so, you have to remove the lock strip which is held in by three screws along the top strip where the lock is. The removal of the lock cylinders is obvious at that point.
 
good thought, but not good enough to work.
they might be similar to R12 bags- but there is no strip nor any screws anywhere near the lock assembly, inside or out.
 
The R12 strip was the whole width of the bag and it uncovered the lock assembly and more.
 
Got it! Surprisingly simple, with the application of a very thin-blade screwdriver.
(That, and turning up the volume on my glasses, so i could see what i was looking at)
