May issue of Motorcyclist has a wonderful article "Reason To Ride" by Neale Bayly. He accompanied Hoobastank's "front man" Doug Robb, (BMW designer David Robb's 1/2 brother) and Chriss Hesse the drummer, on a trip to visit David in Germany.
David Robb entertained them by taking them for a ride in his stunt plane along with a personal motorcycle tour through Germany, into Austria, and Italy. This is a great read.
A couple excerpts;
"Before hitting the road, Dave suggested we visit him at the BMW design studio, located in a wing of the world-famous FIZ Building. As a once-in-a-lifetme experience. I immediately jumped at the opportunity." .......
"Hitting 150 mph, the big K-bike starts to pitch and roll like an ocean liner in a storm but thankfully stays on line, as Dave isn't slowing."
