How to troubleshoot your K100 (and possibly K75) if it won't start

I found this link http://hrsbstaff.ednet.ns.ca/bvogel/...wont-start.htmon the German forum www.flyingBrick.de. It's a well written, semi-non technical, description of how all the various components associated with getting a K100 to start and run properly. Looks reasonably accurate and might be of interest to K100/K75 owners.

    Check it out.

This is too good to drift away into the abyss of old threads. It should be a sticky.

It has been brought to my attention that the link to the troubleshooting guide is no longer active.

I have located another link to the troubleshooting guide here:

    https://bmwmotorcycletech.info/K100%...20Starting.pdf

Please PM me if you are having trouble accessing the guide in the future.
