I've owned 3 Wedge slant 4's. Started with this 2006 K1200S (only had it for 1 year)...

Then this 2007 K1200GT (rode it 5 years)...

Been missing that smooth power so here's the current one----2015 K1300S...

    I know, I know......it's a sidecar rig. But it's also a Wedge K, my new to me K1200S

This was taken in Glacier NP last June on my ride home from the USCA Rally in Coeur d'Alene Idaho

100%! One of the two best lighting adds you can do to this bike. The other is changing out the factory headlight bulbs for LED (Cyclops) bulbs. Much, much brighter in both pilot visibility, as well as in being seen. The LED high beam is really, really bright. So I have it wired to not cut out the Darlas when I activate the high beams for backroads.

Hey Tom, ever thought about getting riding gear which matches the paint scheme on your bike?

    Kidding! Looking good!

Miss the one like that I had, but not the LEO interviews! Love that paint scheme and the smuggler trunk.
Y’all have health food stores up there?

The blue/white is a sharp looking paint job.
    Is the fender carbon fiber?

    Is that a custom paint? I don't remember a all white K1300GT.

Yup, carbon fibre fender. And a bunch of other carbon bits sprinkled throughout. And yes, there are health food stores here - although I'm not a customer.

    2nd time K1300S Owner

Brought this beauty home a couple of weeks back. 2014, 8700 miles, immaculate, and a bunch of carbon. Have added Akra HP exhaust, and am waiting for HP rearsets and pax footpegs. I owned a 2015 motorsport and sold it in a moment of utter stupidity. In any case, so glad to be back on the K - what a thrill. Also have a r1250 gsa and an s1000r.
