Looks like the Spl??gen Pass - north ramp to the town of Spl??gen???

You got it. Did a round trip. n-s then s-n a month ago. First time I have run it s-n in years.

I had no choice as I was staying in the Hotel Aurora just outside of Chiavenna.

Thats a good home base for Maloja, Julier, Albula, Ofen, Fluela and even Gavia, in one direction, and Spl??gen, San Bernardino, Lukmanier and Rofla Schlucht in the other direction. Also Passo San Marco a bit further south.

Did you try the alternate route up the south side of Spl??gen?

1 turn on AZ 191, nee AZ 666, or The Devils Highways. There are hundreds like this.

Thank you!
That photo was taken on Mattole Rd near Ferndale, CA. Rough pavement but stunning views and very little traffic. :)
