Looking for some recommendations for some crashbars. I ride mainly paved roads but a litlle gravel ocassionally so am looking for something for those low speed...(hopefully).. spills.

Hepcos

These were on the bike when I bought it, so I don't know where they were purchased from. I can say that it has been on its side in the grass and mud with no head damage. Easy to remove valve cover too. three mounting points per side and a joining sleeve on the front. Don't think that they are currently made like this. Good luck -Matthew

They don't have to be removed. I you do want to take them off, tank removal is preferred. Don't let that frighten you. Removing the tank takes me... maybe 3 minutes.
The main thing I like about these bars is that have a 3/4 wrap around the heads....& are they ugly. Matthew

This might be a bit late. I bought a set of hepco and becker crash bars. They were easy to put on still have access to the oil filter and can still get the rocker covers off.

+1 for HB.If the 1100GS I just purchased didn't come with another brand already installed, I'd be all over the HB.

HB work to. I droped the bike a couple of times on Sunday up in the Blue Mountians west of sydney.
