Driving lights not working?

A few years ago I installed the Cyclegadgets brackets with PIAA 1100X bulbs, and am very happy with this setup. On Jan. 2nd of this year I replaced my battery due to age, a straight forward affair with the help of this forum. Bike has been running great, the Rockster, but the driving lights dont work all of a sudden. Dont remember using them on a small ride after the battery replacement, but with the great weather lately, had to ride this week. I had these installed by the dealer with the turn signal cancel switch, and they have never not worked since being installed. Is it possible for both lights to burn out at the same time? I took the time today to retrace all the wiring from the lights to the fuse box, and replaced the 20 amp fuse in line. Any thoughts.... Also, any alternatives for bulb replacement as I am sure the bulbs are expensive.

not quite as bright as the PIAA bulb, but it's less than 1/3 the cost.
MSC INdustrial Supply http://www1.mscdirect.com/ (site temporarily down, or so they say) has an o-ring that you will need to use with the above bulbs to get them to fit the PIAA housing. you want item @ 02047421; 1-7/8" x 2 silicone o-ring. i got the 25 pk, that should last you plenty long time.
i got 45K out of one PIAA, 55K out of the other. PIAA said that was pretty good life. Still on my first replacement set from bulbs.com, at 30K & 20K, respectively.

I also have a Cycle Gadgets bracket and PIAA 1100X lights. I just discovered that one of my lights is out. I bought my original lights from litewarehouse.com which I just learned is now: http://www.mvpautoparts.com/home.php?cat=390

Not sure how they compare in price with other vendors, but I figured I'd mention it to you as a potential source. I'll be ordering a replacement lamp soon myself - I'll proably get two just so I have one on the shelf.

Paul- that's no huge deal, even going for direct replacement (rather than the ones i'm using from bulbs.com, which are a fraction of that price, and nearly as bright).

I have a hunch that one little wire didn't get reconnected when the battery was exchanged. I don't know exactly how they might have wired those lights to the bike but there will be a hot lead to the light relay, a switched hot lead for the relay coil taken off somewhere to the PIAA switch, and a ground. Most folks tie the hot to the relay at the battery and the ground for the relay coil there too. Look for a stray wire not connected at the battery. BTDT
