Wintertime looking way, way west in the distance..

Cold, cold January Day in Minnesota, giving me hope there is a warm spot in the world.

looking west? I thought the only direction in Wisconsin was south.

uh...Minnesota is a state...not sure you know that it's not a suburb of Wisconsin


And yes, just like anywhere else, the sun sets in the west, not south. Glad you enjoyed it so much to inspire the comment!

Wintertime U-Turn.....

I was reading about the Lucassen adventure ride : http://www.sjaaklucassen.nl/eng.html last night and I got all charged up to go "winter adventure riding myself".
I made it to the end of the driveway this morning and made a U-Turn back to the garage, went upstairs and settled for a hot coco and nap.....I think I'll watch his adventure unfold on-line.

Great picture...may I ask, what is a Hex Sign doing on a barn in Montana? I can't imagine that our Pennsylvania Dutch folk art has made it that far west!
