I took this picture within the Ft Wingate Army Depot while working there in july 2007.
It is outside of Gallup New Mexico and you can see some of the bunkers in the distance.
The interior of the depot had a quite extensive rail system and this is one of the many unloading docks for weapons.

A window broke in one of the buildings in Bodie, Ca and I was able to snap a few shots of the interior before the work crew boarded up the opening.

Love the open wiring. More Bodie pics here.

Very cool.

There's something about railroad tracks that I really like when they go abandoned. Maybe it's something about how they carry such heavy loads but are obscured so easily when neglected.

2 of my more arty-farty photos:
Both of these are near Delaware Ohio (NW of Columbus)

The first is a furniture store in my hometown. Seems to have looked like that forever. Yes they are still open!

A former stomping ground during my youth, at one time the local vibrant manufacturing part of the city (Elyria, OH).

The Roundhouse

This structure is located just off of the Cherohala Skyway and a lot of the locals aren't even aware of it. It's called "The Roundhouse" and HERE is a link giving a short history. I found a Geocache on the top floor. So if you are on the Skyway, pull off and take a grand tour. It's really in pretty bad shape and I have a feeling that it may not be there much longer.

I thought I posted this, but don't see it in the thread.

Looking through a recently broken window in Bodie, Ca, just before it was boarded up.
