Wow what a lineup.

I've only recently discovered Quinn Sullivan and how Buddy Guy has mentored him.

The future of blues guitar. He's finally doing shows on his own.

So impressed.

If you have ever seen the movie "Postcards From the Edge", it featured a band called Blue Rodeo.
Here they are with a Rodney Crowell song- "Till I Can Gain Control Again".

Gary -

I feel a bit worn out after watching Angus...those were the days!!

I've been hearing bits of Grand Funk Railroad lately!

I've always been a Stones fan:

Rip Prince~

The artist known as Prince passed away today at the age of 57. Prince was a real innovator that seemed to "buck" the standard operating procedure for an artist in the music industry. Prince sold some 100 million records making him one of the top sellers in the music world. Prince had also won 7 Grammy awards, played a half-time at a Super Bowl and was inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of fame.
Another talent gone.

The 2016 Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame induction on HBO :dance
Inductees include Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Steve Miller, N. W. A. and Chicago.

The performances were excellent and amazing. It's further amazing to realize that I have been listening to the music from these bands for more than a half century.

With the passing of David Bowie there was a rather nice tribute led by David Byrne.

There was a tribute to Glenn Fry from the Eagles led by Sheryl Crow with Grace Potter which was rather nice but subdued. Sheryl Crow keeps looking better and better :evil I wonder if she has a painting hiding in the dark recesses of a forgotten closet.

While the death of Rock Legend Prince was too recent to be included in a live performance, for this televised event saluted Prince with what I believe was the footage of the grand finale when Prince was inducted.

Looks like OG's can rock :gerg
