Love this song...

I've just completed watching the most recent season of the "Brokenwood Mysteries", found on Acorn.TV. This is a New Zealand based detective show; I quite enjoyed this show. Several CDs have been released containing compilations of music used in various episodes. This music is of NZ artists.

Following is one of these artists -

Here is another artist, Tami Nelson, that has several tracks on the vol 3 compilation of "Brokenwood Mysteries" CD.

I am listening to the Board of County Commissioners of Brewster County, Texas consider an order that to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public all hotels, motels, RV parks, and short term rentals be vacated and closed. The City of Alpine has already done so. Not exactly uplifting listening, to say the least.

A nice, tight jam session from James Brown. Read where the drummer, Clyde Stubblefield, provided ample drum sounds for later sampling in the hip-hop days. Nice to hear the individual instruments come in and go out, getting a chance to shine. Very crisp music. Turn up the volume! Not quite In A Gadda Da Vida, but it's still good!
