I was watching the 3rd season of "Goliath" (with Billy Bob Thornton) on Amazon Prime and there was one featured singer as a lounge act in a casino in the California central valley. This singer is Linda Kay Parker. I was quite taken with her. Below is a sample of her singing from the YouTube.

Following is a link to her website -

Lost Paul Barrere this weekend. Here's a nice Midnight Special show along with Bonnie Raitt and Emmylou Harris:

Lost Paul Barrere this weekend.

Crap :(

Another version of the classic-

Little Feat has been one of my favorite bands. I still remember the announcement of Lowell George's passing.....

Is a classic!

RIP Paul Barrere.

OM

I 've seen Little Feat several times starting back in the 70's with Lowell and up to 2012 (without Richie). RIP Paul, Lowell, and Richie (one great drummer)

Elsewhere there has been some discussion about next years' (2020) rally out west. The times I've ridden out way west of the Mississippi I have been on a bike with better suspension, better brakes, quieter, and I was wearing a helmet and other gear, but man, the scenery shown below is pretty nice. I think of this when I hear this music -
