Valve Shim Adjustment Interval

How many km or miles has your K gone since it needed a new shim? I put in one new one at 64k km. That one is just a little tighter than the others but they are all in spec at 136k km.

I noticed a "new noise" from the engine when I got back from Gillette. Part of the problem was that that was the first time in weeks I rode without earplugs and an open face helmet. The noise isn't new any more so I am ignorring it.;)

Year and Model

I have an 87 K75. I guess I ride like your typical "K75 weany", so this bike will NEVER wear out.

Don't know yet, I have only put 24,000 miles on my 85 K since the last shim change. Will see next spring if anything moved during this years riding season.
