Anyone knows if there is an aftermarket source for the nut that holds the bleed screw on the rear brake Brembo caliper, 2002 1150 GS, something like shown in message 15 in

This is the part as sold by Motobins in the UK (part 80049S, http://www.motobins.co.uk/

The nut is only sold with the complete caliper by BMW. Is there an aftermarket source in the US? Or is there anyone with a busted up caliper laying around? The bleed screw broke off (rock or my Jesse's, not sure) flush with the holder nut. The little backflow SS ball is also stuck, so I am having a hard time getting a hold of the remaining bleed screw piece in the holder nut. Right now the brake still works, so I don't want to get too overly enthusiastic in getting the piece out without knowing I can a replacement holder nut.

That "nut" is actually the seat of the valve that the bleed screw bottoms into to shut off the flow through the bleed valve. I don't know where to get one other than order it from Motobins.

That said - a straight fluted screw extractor might work to back the bleed nipple out. Assuming it sheared from a blow and not because the threads seized it ought to turn out quite easily.

Thanks. The problem that it is a speedbleeder, so it has the little SS one-way vent ball stuck in the middle. It is hardened, so I can not get my dremel to take it out This SS ball prevents me from sticking anything in the vent hole to unscrew it.

problem solved

Problem solved, SpeedBleeder also sells the holder nut. Something like $15 for the nut and a new speedbleeder. I ordered it Thursday 4 PM, and had it the next day.
