The Portland Botanical Gardens

It was a really beautiful day today in Oregon so I looked up directions to ride to the Portland Botanical Rose Gardens. It was only a short ride but proved to be well worth the trip. There's no cost to enter the gardens & wander around at your own pace. The gardens hold a huge variety of beautiful rose bushes loaded with dozens of varieties of very colorful roses. I brought both my DSLR & Point & Shoot for this shoot. There were grass paths between the rows of rose bushes so you cold literally walk right up & touch the roses. I had to persuade a few bugs to relcate before shooting the photos. I hope you enjoy them.

Walking between the row after row of roses the smell was awesome.

Wonderful pictures, Bob. My wife and I visited the gardens back in the late '80s. Where's the obligatory "Mt. Hood in the distance" shot?
