Chatterbox & Earplugs

Greetings all !

Is it possible to adapt the Chatterbox to use earplugs instead of the little speakers ? I really like the bike to bike capability and the way it consolidates audio devices.

I usually wear Etymotic 6i Isolators on rides. Wind/road noise without earplugs is too much.

Chatterbox Earspeaker Adapter

Now the question is, what would one do to get just the mic in the helmet and eliminate the speakers ?? Just clip off the speakers ?

Ear plugs AND Chatterox

I use a Chatterbox with earplugs (Moldex Rockets) and am able to hear my passenger up to about 70 mph without too much trouble.

And above 70 the passenger is hitting him in the ribs............ :ha

Thanks for the reply ! I really mean, earphones/earspeakers not plugs. I grew up calling the aforementioned earplugs.
