How interchangable are seats from say a seat off a R75/6 to a R65??

The /5 long wheel base and /6 seats are the same and /7 is different. Check the Corbin web site they show what fits what bikes.

True on the LWB /5 & /6 being the same, except that the R90S is the same as /7- due to the gas tank size & shape.
Stuff for/from a R65 fits mostly nothing else (except maybe for the R45 that was available in Canada & Europe?).

Just for clarification.
The R45 was only available in Canada from 1 dealer in Vancouver, the now defunct Funnel Motors. The owner brought in 9 to "test the market" and found that they were extremely underpowered compared to other 450cc machines available at that time. I know, as my wife has owned one of them since new. The R45 was basically an R65 with shorter rear shocks and smaller jugs. Everything else is interchangeable. The R45 is so understressed, it will virtually last forever. Maxes out at 90 MPH, but will stay there all day long. Not many of those Japanoid 450cc machines of the era still running around.
In Europe the R45 was sold for many years. You could even get them with an RT fairing (had to order direct from the factory though) and some dealers added on RS fairings and even smallish side cars. I was in Europe a couple of years ago and saw lots of them on the road. Still very popular in England, France and Spain.
