This was my first motorcycle adventure, riding the 2007 R1200R. Went with Don who is a seasoned long distant adventure rider. Had good weather with only one rainy afternoon in Colorado.

Thank you Don for willing to take a noobie on such an adventure! Your expertise made for a smooth trip and a lot of fun!

Had the R1200R almost one year at the end of this July. Has 24,500 miles on it now. Great bike! The R1200GSA is an amazing machine to watch in the mountains, I'm just to short for it.
 
Looks like an awseome trip!

I was passed by two BMWs that look very much like yours on I-85 (near Boiling Springs) day before yesterday in a severe downpour... that wasnt you two by chance?
