A new oilhead cruiser?

I have heard rumors of another oilhead cruiser from BMW. Anyone heard this?

I think BMW could have learned from Harley in capitalizing on thier well known classic icon bikes in their past. The whole Softtail series has blossomed with the success of the Heritage Classic and Fatboy. I have always felt BMW could do the same by building a "classic crusier" based on the style of the R69 bike, even with a modern Earls front fork.

I envision a R69 style chassis with an Oilhead engine, use an updated version/style of the "plunger" rear suspension with a modern version of the Earls fork. BMW is very good at suspensions, especially those which are non-typical. Harley proved success with the Softtail chassis and Springer front end. BMW should be able to show up Harley at that game.
