Could these be plugged into consul to give a heads-up display for cars, motorcycle and other transportation modes?
Ear Buds would provide hearing protection and/or GPS and audio entertainment.
Dark Glasses
WiFi/Bluetooth reception?

Say now there's an idea for those too yucky to ride days, just take a vid of a favorite ride and watch in the warmth and comfort of the garage while astride your machine, hell you could even enjoy a beer (or several ) or your favorite beverage/drug of choice in perfect safety, thou make sure you have your gear on if you over-indulge and fall while getting off! ha Ha!

You could even get one of those new devices I saw at the last International MC show where you car park the bikes front wheel in it and it holds up the bike, even if it starts to lean it will right itself. That way you could enjoy the turns in the vid even more!

ItÔÇÖs not that far-fetched.

The new Lockheed-Martin helmet has an LCD display which is connected to cameras mounted around the aircraft. The pilot can essentially ÔÇ£seeÔÇØ right through the plane.

It was on WOOT yesterday for $99.

Might be a lot more there than we "see" at first glance. The concept is intriguing. The poor man's heads up display.
