Steve, how is the road back into Nine Mile?
    How far to the petroglyphs?

The road from Wellington, UT into the canyon is paved. The only hazard is the well marked 10 mph dips and there are several. The petroglyphs are scattered throughout the canyon, some next to the road, others require a hike. The road south from Myton, UT is also paved except for approx. six miles of rocky gravel switchbacks near the southern end near the canyon. Take a look here , http://http://www.castlecountry.com/free-mapfor more info.

Got out for the Distinguished Gentemans ride yesterday. Might be the last warm day of the year. Thanks to all the folks on here who donated.

I did, indeed, and heard it as well. Appeared to be a rock about the size of a walnut.
