Digging out an old one, here. 11/18/01; photo from a window on a Northwest Airlines DC-10, on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. We were somewhere over the Atlantic, at the time.

One year of sunrise and sunset

I just finished a personal project, called "The Horizons Project," which was a personal mandate to witness and photograph every sunrise and sunset for one year. You can see it all at:

Some BMW content.

Thanks and enjoy.

Fascinating!

Ever since moving to the Big Bend area of Texas, Paul and I have taken time out to watch sunsets, and sunrises. What a beautiful gift that is each day!

It is spiritual. And what an amazing variety you have!

I've seen lots of great sun sets but the best are off our deck.

I was thinking exactly the same...

I have posted these before (and having seen the others here, I have some work ahead of me):

This one is special. Taken when we had forest fires in Norcal and the smoke in the air added intense color. From my deck.
