Favorite Bike Portrait

A couple of weeks ago. It was a nice sunny Feb. day.

From the wayback machine...
1978, Ocean City, MD. My first "long" trip. I think I did 180 miles that day. I think I'd owned the bike for about a week. Still going strong - the bike at least. :laugh

Man, I remember those 30 pound helmets. Its no wonder so many of us rode with out.

R1200RT at Vaseux Lake, BC, Canada 2010

One of my favourite short back road photo locations just North of Oliver, BC, Canada.

I've posted this one a few times, so it must be one of my favorites.

Somewhere between Jeddah and Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Stopping to take a photo

When I was younger I would just ride past beautiful places, but I have finally learned that it is much better to stop, and take a photo...maybe even a short hike. :bolt

Not BMW but....

.....just as much fun to ride. Here's a shot taken from my now departed Ducati 907IE en route to Monarch Pass, my riding buddy is ahead of me on his 900SS:

Big Blue

We knew we would not make it to Otter Creek campground early enough to buy firewood for the evening, hence the firewood. Carried this firewood from Gooney Creek campground in Front Royal. This bike is our favorite ride.
