    front rotor movement

hi, my 2010 r1200rt with 43000 miles has movement on both front rotors. i can move the rotors forward and back maybe 2mm. no noises or braking issues. i have read about worn mounting buttons, could that be the issue? is this an issue?

    Welcome to the forum

No problem...you have semi floating rotors. The worn button issues were more of a 1100 Oilhead and early K bike issue.
The early 1200's had fixed rotors and zero play.

Yeah, the rear rotor directly bolts to wheel mount flange and zero float.
