Post a pic of your Airhead

The pillion seems to enjoy it, too! Nice pics...I like the way the camera was panned with your passing to get you guys in focus.

Uh, visors up for the cameraman, right?? Got to see the smiles.

Gilera, the 1980 R100T

Of all my bikes Gilera gets ridden the most and cared for the least. Well, it is starting to come around for her. I just replaced the single ATE front end with a 1983 dual Brembo front end. I rebuilt the front end, it has dual rate springs (4), BelRay 7w and put on the Telefix brace. I rebuilt a 15mm master cylinder on the handlebar. Now that I have the under-tank master cylinder gone I installed the electronic ignition unit and swapped the points-in-a-can with the electronic sensor. On the advice of Bob at Motorwerks in Montana, I replaced the 1980 cast air intake snorkel with the later plastic one. HUGE difference, especially in handling, but also in smooth horsepower.

Cooling off upon returning from the test ride after installing OEM handlebars and re-routing (most of) the cables and control wires.

It was in great shape when I got it from the PO, but it was set up to his seating and posture preferences. The tweaks put it to where I can comfortably take off for a meeting or a day trip. :thumb

My '71 airhead. Started life as a /5 R75, but I wanted more power so I dropped a /6 r90 motor in. Chopped the pipes into megaphones, now she sounds like a Fokker Triplane going down the road!

That is an absolutely stunning cafe. Well done :bow

The Alabama leaf peepin ride. 4 of us spent 2 days in northern Alabama a couple of weeks ago. Mine is the Monza Blue R75/6.

First post. My 1974 R75/6 (a few discrepancies). Owned about 10 years. Debating potentially selling it if I get a new-to-me R90/6 sorted out. I've got a few others in the stable as well. Not sure if I'm going to get this pic thing right. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/windwild/2128416941/" title="My 1974 R75/6 by windwild, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2053/2128416941_ecfcd0c4da_b.jpg" width="1024" height="768" alt="My 1974 R75/6" /></a>

It looks like you did. Now, would you please go back to your posts with the huge ones and edit them? You can either insert resized pictures there or delete them and refer to your last message. Just hit the "Edit" button and the window will open.

The reason is, they still have to load to display the page - and it's taking forever.

Are you referring to the two pics that I posted or to the really huge pics that someone else posted previous to mine? If you are talking about mine I guess I'll figure out how to edit them. I didn't notice a problem in mine taking a long time to load but would like to get it right. Thanks

Here's my 1975 R60/6 with toaster tank as well. I've owned this bike about 4 years.<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/windwild/3591344334/" title="IMG_0148 by windwild, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3378/3591344334_8f88caf275_b.jpg" width="1024" height="768" alt="IMG_0148" /></a>

You're right. Wasn't you. Sorry about that. I wonder if a Moderator might fix this. :whistle
