Post a pic of your Airhead

Great looking R65!

Congratulations from a fellow r65 owner just southeast of you, Finger Lakes Region of N.Y. ( Canandaigua ).

Bought it from my uncle in March. He bought it new in 76. 22,000 miles on it now. My first bike and I love it!

I've made a couple modifications since last year. Euro bars, napoleon mirrors, knee pads, new reflectors, new tank emblems, new shorter clutch-throttle cables, full tune up! Riding great!

Nice job. Did you paint the wheels or powder coat them?

Just bought this lady in Maryland and drove it back to Chicago. It's my first airhead and I'm in love. I think I'm going to kick my girlfriend out and park the bike in the bedroom.

Nice bike. Is that a Corbin seat? Where in Maryland was it? Very strong Airhead group here if you ever venture back. :)

Why do I feel like I need to "rescue" these things? It sure is fun making something worthwhile out of a pile like this.

Because you're good at it and you love to do it??

Not so good at it but I love to do it.

:cry This one I have given up on. This will be the first one that I have reluctantly decided to part out. There are some high dollar parts that are beyond repair even though most of the bike is in great condition.

:cry

Very nice. I'm looking for a similar seat. Any info available?

Been looking at everyone else's pics and finally figured out how to post one of my bike.

Yes it's a Corbin seat which has been super comfortable in the 2,000 miles I've put on it since I bought it. I bought it from a guy in Huntingtown, MD. Took Rt 50 most of the way back to Chicago then cut up through Indiana. Great trip.
