West Bend to Long Island NY

With the Ferry being booked on Sunday (unless I want to get up super early to make the 6am boat), I'm toying with the idea of going through Canada to NY and the beautiful Andirondacks.

Here's the route I've pieced together. What do you think? Anyone know anything about Canada's TC 17?

Pretty similiar to the route that I will be taking. If you croiss the border at Ogdensberg, the traffic will be less, but if it makes a difference to you, there is a long metal grate bridge to cross. Canda's route 17 moves along a a good pace.l
