Fellow Transition boot owners, I think you should be aware of my recent ankle injury. The Transition Boot contributed/indirectly caused a chip fracture. As you are aware, the boots have an exoskeleton with a hinged joint. At the hinged joint is a bolt. Not so coincidently, the bolt sits above the area of injury. While riding, I put my foot down to prevent a low side crash, my boot also hit the hard side case. IÔÇÖm not trying to say the boots are unsafe, yet I find it ironic that the exoskeleton, which is supposed to provide added protection, actually contributed to the injury. We all take risks while riding, but I think itÔÇÖs important that we know the risks weÔÇÖre taking.
Anyway, ride safe.
Anyway, ride safe.
