Post a picture of your hexhead.

I'm glad I bought it, even after 22 great years of riding my 94 R1100RS, with a lot of mods over the years too. The seating position on my RS, with the handlebar I made the riding position is fairly close to the RT.

But the footpeg position, and the slightly wider handlebar on the RT it is much more comfortable. I rolled off 185 miles yesterday on a quick little afternoon ride and felt no aches like I usually have on my RS. I'm thinking of a Cee Bailey, Cal Sci or an Aeroflo windshield for it to reduce the wind noise even more. Even stock it is much more quiet than behind the Cee Baley windshield on my RS. Being quieter makes it easy to enjoy the sounds from the Remus Carbon Fiber straight through muffler. Nuts, enough typing, I gotta get out and ride, temp outside is in the high 50's which for Green Bay in late October is riding season!

Yes, satin silver. The headers are larger diameter than other R12's and really looked sad in brown patina being so visible.
Looks good Steve! How long have you have them coated for?Any issues?
Am about to have mine done as well. Am debating between satin silver and black.

Three seasons on this set. No issues other when I draped a jacket on nose and my sleeve melted on headers. Left a mark for a few miles:banghead

Have black on three others and polished silver on our 11S that was done by PO.That set got a chip in it recently after nine years in our care.
The black lasts, but shows road wear more...especially if you ride in a red mud following your lost bro -in-law in NM and it bakes on like terra cotta pottery:( That came off with some lime- a -way and a soft scrubbie.

Was the bottom pic taken on the Needles side of the Lower Arrow Lake Ferry?

Interesting paint scheme you've got there. :thumb

R NineT Scrambler

Picture of my R NineT Scrambler that I picked up in March (after waiting 3 months for it to arrive). It was ordered with the brushed aluminum tank (with visible weld), ASC, and heated grips. I have installed SW Motech engine guards, Rizoma rear rack, and an MRA Universal Highway wind screen (tired of picking bugs out of my teeth' since I usually have a sh!# eating grin on when I'm riding...).

I really like the bike. It handles well, has good power, and looks great (IMHO). It sounds better than my 1200GS LC; both the stock Akropovic exhaust and the engine "rattles" less than the LC motor.IMG_0053.jpg

My latest purchase...2012 GS Rallye with 1400 miles on the clock.
