Hand of the bike

Alan, left shakes my hand as we complete the deal. He's smiling because he picked up his new 1200 GS Wethead. I'm smiling because I got a great bike at a fantastic price.

Win, Win.

What could be better than a new R1200GS LC ......

.... two new R1200GS LCs - 2015 models, one with lowered suspension but other than that we now have matching bikes.

You lost me here, Bud. :) I recall you just got a V-Strom, and sold your Oiler RT.

How do you like it so far?

On my recent trip. Waited 30 minutes for the 'Red' rain to pass and ducked in behind it to find this rainbow.

Great picture. Your bike has one of my favorite color schemes on the RT.

Thank you. Actually this is my second bike exactly alike. I put 40K miles last year on the first one and was in for a service and saw this one sitting on the floor and traded my bike for it because it had only 3K miles, so I now have a bike with a warranty.
Ride Safe,
Robert

New to me 06

This is my 3rd BMW and my 2nd RT. Will likely ride the snot out of this one for a few years then move to a newer wethead model.

My new '07 R1200R - thank you Don!

Here is my "new to me" '07 R12R, all the way from New Jersey to Alabama. Thanks to Don Eilenberger for being a wonderful help during this process. And also thanks to Don for all the great information he has posted over the years, it really makes me feel good to be a part of the MOA. Now if I can get off work long enough to make some trips.......:)image.jpg

New look on the RT

Covered up the blue paint the previous owner had put on the lower fairings with the gray plastidip. Stuff is pretty cool....goes on pretty thick and seems to have held up perfectly in a 100 miles plus since I put it on. The coolest part - it peels right off if you don't like it. This is not a permanent paint job, but I did it to see if I liked the color. I think I do. Also removed the pinstripe he had put on. 20150905_200212_resized.jpg
