R12GSA cylinder head protectors

ihint

New member
I took off my cylinder head protectors (BMW's protectors) a few weeks ago to clean the bike and now I am putting them back on but am having some troubles.

There are these spacers (larger washers) and I remember them being in different locations on each side of the bike. There are three locations where the cylinder head protector connects...two high and one low.

If anyone has a 12GSA could you please look to see where these larger washers/spacers (~3/8" inch) are located.

Also is there a regular washer that goes next to the large washer/spacer?

That helps tremendously.

That website is great. Does the site do the same thing for other bikes? If so do people know about it?

Thanks again!
