R1200RT Radio - AM Reception

Any R12RT owners here with the factory radio have an AM reception problem?

Enjoy listening to sports on the AM band, and with the blowtorch KOA broadcasting to seven states I can get it (In the car) just about anywhere within 1000 miles. Would kinda like to hear it when I'm in the middle of Nowhere, WY.

Can barely hear AM broadcasts on the RT. Mostly static. No problem with FM. CD player is fine. Dealer tried a new replacement radio. Same issue. Will note, no problem with AM reception when the bike is off. Start it up however, and loud static overwhelms the reception. Dealer thought they caught a mis-installed antenna with a crushed gasket. Solution didn't solved the problem... still no AM reception when the bike is running. So, I guess they're going to call BMW.

Any of you have experience with this? Thanks.
