How could this happen?

I clearly remember reading somewhere that in addition to the perfect weather, nice twisties, and balmy temps - that it is against the law for a pothole to exist in CA. I'll bet someone from Michigan left it there as we have so many we are now turning them into a cash crop by selling them to the less fortunate. One of our campaigns is to leave "free samples" in other states so they can experience first hand the joys of true heads-up driving.

Smart ass remarks aside - bummer.

Ouch!!!!

Well, FWIW I've been looking at a new HD Sportster with the rubber-mounted motor. That should solve pothole issues....

Figured I missed my chance to buy a new Norton Commando or Triumph Bonneville, so I'll get the next best thing from that era - maybe..... :):)
