New Year's Day

Ok, so what time did you wake up today, how's your head, and what are your plans for the day?

I'll start - the eye's popped open about ten thirty and my head feels alright, although this seems an early time to experience heartburn and I think I need a few pounds of this stuff :coffee before I can move anywhere near usual pace. Once I do get moving, we are going over to friends and then coming home and having family over.

Tomorrow - the dreaded four letter word starting with "w". :cry

I woke up at 8:15am and at 10am I was out of the door for a NYD ride. Got back from the ride at 3:30pm. Fantastic way to start the year.

Well the rain here in Atlanta kept us in the hotel. At least we had a fireplace. And the best part of staying in last night, besides the survival factor, was catching the Garrison Keilor New Year's Eve special. Anyone else see that? A very pleasant surprise indeed.

Atlanta weather today was perfect for riding. Too bad the RT is 400 miles south at home. :wave

I woke up at 1:00PM which for those that know me is not uncommon. However I was also up to 3:00AM and did not have anything to drink....

Got up at 8 am and drove south as I had to prep the boat for work. It was not a late night for me, as I knew I had to get going...

I got up at 8:15 but since I was sober when I went to bed it was no different than the day before.

Got up at 8:30 and was on my way to the NYD club ride by 10 a.m. We rode about 200 miles total and had a great lunch at the Hwy. 54 Diner in Mexico, MO. We thought it might be a little warmer if we went to Mexico. Not so! :D

Well,I got called to work at 1215 am,spent the night sittin'on a noisy, vibrating, cold engine, and rode a freight train into Winnipeg, never got t'bed until noon,Happy New Year all right. :laugh
