Wires go to what?

I just finished detailing under the tupperware of my 99' R1100RT and noticed there are 3 wires in front of the glove box not connected to anything. One is a female 2 hole plug, the other 2 are similar male 2 wire connectors with one round and one flat pin. One of these is white and the other is black. I am assuming they are for the optional radio
Also, there is a multi (3 or 4) hole female connector zip tied to the frame near the seat on the left side just above and to the front of the lift handle. No clue about this one...Any ideas?

Funny you should post this question. I found the same thing on my 2000 rt the other day. I'll dig out the books and figure it out for us.

Hey Batman. Went over my bike (2000 r1100rt) and found the same wires. The wiring diagram shows the wires up front being used for the radio. The 4 pin connector at the rear is listed as "special equipment connection" I have no idea what that is. But it has a dedicated 15 amp fuse. My bike also has an unused 2 pin connector on the left side near the rear peg. This is listed as a "12 volt power connector" the same as the one on the dash. Cool...I was toying with wiring another socket on the back.
Happy Riding
