    Question bike starts without choke

even when it is 14*F out, the bike starts without choke. it will not start with choke on [not even a little choke].

last season, the bike used to start in this kind of cold only with choke. anything below 40*F required choke last season.

so something has changed. i find this rather peculiar. what could have changed?

Does it also idle high once it is warmed up?

Does it seem to run rich when on the gas for some time as in freeway riding?

May be time to give your carbs a little attention.

    g'luck.

    It's running richer, of course.

Think your floats are overflowing a little?

I think there's some little air bypass circuit that may work at idle; perhaps it's restricted.
