valve adjustment

Could someone direct me to a post/site on the procedure to the adjust valves on a 1200 RT?? I would like to read the procedure before I start taking things apart. Thanks

Simply put, it will and is identical to the 1150 bikes. Just the shape of the motor changed. For all practical puposes the internal changes are not even in view when the valve covers come off. YMMV

Just to tell you not to be intimidate. Its even easier than the linked guides show. Buy a throttle synch device too, that's even easier to use and you'll be amazed at the money you'll save doing it yourself, not to mention the satisfaction you'll get. When its time to reline your brakes, if you've never done that, you'll find that a quick and easy job also.
