Can anyone Please help with with my Finicky Carbs. I would like to try and reseal them myself, except I have no Data. I have been trying to find some on on the Web. Does anyone know where I can get some good info? Or am I better off just mailing them somewhere and having them done.

Thanks

There's nothing finicky about the Dellortos if they are set up properly. What are you trying to do to them?

No offence intended, but IMHO if you have to ask these questions, Dellorto carbs may be above your head. (They are mine)
I'm mildly mechanically competant. Amals, fine, Bings, no problem, SU's, can do 'em in my sleep. Webers and Dellortos (anything past an SS-1), they go to specialists.

I will say before I did ANYTHING, I'd run a dose of BG or Techron through them.

More issues with carbs coming;

Todays gasolines/ethanol based, etc. and we are going to find more of this carb issue popping up! The older and some newer rubbers, o rings,etc are having trouble with the new blends of gas. We'll find ourselves messing with our carbs more, imo.....more often anyhow! If you're taking one(a carb) down for the first time(an unfamiliar one), use a good clean area for tiny parts that like to escape...The only del orto I had was on my KLM 400 dirt bike and was it good! Yep! Good, good power source for that bike. I don't like the power delivery for the R bikes, though, with this brand carb. You're either on or off the throttle, no smooth transition like the CV Bings deliver. Hot rod guys seem to love 'em. I did on my dirt bike! Randy
