Woman hit by train while talking on cell phone

SEATTLE ÔÇô A woman talking on her cell phone was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when she was struck by a train, according to Seattle Police.
Witnesses said the woman was talking on her phone as a freight train crossed South Spokane Street near 2nd Avenue around 4 p.m.
The woman waited for the train to pass, and then walked around the lowered gates only to be hit by an Amtrak train traveling in the opposite direction.
Police said the woman was knocked clear of the train and her injuries did not immediately appear to be life threatening, but soon developed into something more severe.
Scary isn't it...
