Peace of mind for my wife.

I got an inReach from Garmin last year to go to the Springfield rally.
It allows people to follow your progress via satellite.
It also allows texting via satellite.
I don't know if my wife ever used it to check on me, she also had an itinerary.
It made me feel better.
It also allowed me to track my trip.
There is a monthly subscription which can be stopped in the off season.
I just reactivated it as the Va. rally is coming up.
