Once again just like in the debates, the candidate for the 3rd largest political party in the US is ignored. I will vote for Mr Smith, the libertarian candidate.

    KBasa, you're a hoser!

This poll has served its purpose for me. It was meant to see if everyone had the same right leaning slant I've found on another board. They don't.

What most people seem to conveniently forget is that the economy does not change the day a new president takes office.
It is inherited from the previous administration.
What most people seem to forget is that the previous president was also elected by a minority of voters.
As 44 % of the public is functionally illiterate how does anyone expect to see all the people vote?
If we are lucky we may get 40 to 50 % of eligable voters to turn up at all.
Anyway no matter who holds the seat, I'd much rather be riding anyway

    Ugg! Politics.

I hate to discuss politics in the cyber-world because, in a face-to-face discussion, I can usually find some common ground with even the most conservative moron.

While not opposed to a level-headed discussion about anything, and even enjoy some mud-slinging, the politic thing easily gets some of we Homers all flamed up and personal.

In this forum, levelling topics probably won't be our kids or wives/husbands, pure discussions of right and wrong, etc.

Political discussions are more likely to drift toward other
    crap that our Daddies tought us and that we hold too dear;
The more "meaty" topics that may tend to divide us.

Although, for some strange reason (call it freedom) I will defend anyone's right to disagree with me, let our common ground, here, be "all things bikes".

    Talking I would ride my....

you know I can't decide what to ride, the RT or the F650.

Trying to keep riding and politics seperate was why I really admire what Don said when he resigned, it was a personal commitment he made. No sense in stirring up stuff.

Now back to your regularly scheduled forum... for those of you who disagree, feel free to get involved in the forums as this forum is a volunteer endevaor.

It isn't what you ride, it is if you ride
