2004 R1150RS needs connector for heated grip

Destroyed the female connector for the left heated grip coming off of the grip into the main harness. Who are these made by and is there a pin removal tool available so it doesn't happen again. anybody got a part number? I checked MaxbMW but didn't see anything. The tiny screw driver or pin doesn't work. The new grip has the female pins in place.

When I did the heated grip conversion on my R850R I was able to order one of these through my local BMW dealer. It's one of the rare reasonably priced parts!

It's for the heated grip side of the connector -- not sure if that's the one you're referring to.

When removing the individual pins inside the connectors, I just used a safety pin (the kind you'd use for sewing), and it worked well enough for me. I just had to make sure to gently bend the securing tabs back into place when reinstalling the pins.

Most connectors of that vintage are made by AMP exclusively for BMW.
The part you are looking for is 61 13 1 357 903 PLUG HOUSING - 2-POLIG (from 12/02) 2 NANLA
Appears to be no longer available.

You may want to see if the earlier 4 pole unit is retrofitable - I suspect it may be with some modification.
