'22 1250rt audio question

I have what from these forums says is the satellite antenna between display and windscreen.

One person at dealer said it was prepped for audio, the other said it wasn't. (Lucked into a very slightly used bike)

What would an audio prepped bike have? It already had antenna. (Which makes a great pedestal for radar detector!

If prepped how good are stock speakers?

Thanks.

My 2022 RT came with radio prep (speakers and wiring) but no radio. This was due to the chip shortage at the time.

Here's my post regarding the addition of a radio at how BMW would subsidize the installation cost:

I haven't added the radio yet but may at a future date. In the meantime, I stream SiriusXM to my Cardo speakers using the APP.
I had seen thst thanks. I used pic jn post to see I had wires roo. I guess I can't buy it off the shelf, cause bmw has to program? Plug and play too easy?

Thanks

I replaced the stock speakers on my '22 RT with Focal IC BMW 100s based on other reviews - a very easy install. Note there are two similar BMW models from Focal but only this model fits the stock mounting points. Definitely an improvement however music on a bike is always compromised by wind noise. BTW: I got my speakers for less than 1/2 the US price from a European seller.
