Hi guys, may be wrong site but ,thinking of taking me and my 2000 bmw r1100rt to Ireland in september, problem is my insurance here in ontario canada only covers me for canada and the USA, so for those of you who have taken your own bike to europe , how does it work thanks in advance Jimmy:ca

https://motofeirme.com will get you some answers.

The owner posts on ADVrider a lot, he rents bikes and also provides storage for your bike. Super nice guy!

I am not sure if Ireland is still part of the EU, if it is, then you will need what they call “green card insurance”.
