Any Custom BMW Builders here in the USA?

    1. I'm looking for quality BMW R70-100 Boxer custom cafe/bobber builders here in the U.S. that not only build the bikes and socialize them, but SELL them. (Bay City Restorations in Tampa does fantastic work, but won't sell the bike.)

    2. I'm NOT looking for builders that simply refurbish old BMW bikes and remove rust and replenish the brake and clutch fluids. (Burn Garage in FLL, for example)

    3. It would seem that European BMW bike builders put out phenomenal custom bikes, but I can't find one here in the US that produces similar quality custom vintage BMW boxer bikes for a semi-reasonable price-point...and I'm interested.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Sorry, Slip, I don't have any info or recommendations. Maybe others do. I just tried to find a starting point for discussion.

Contact Zack Witkowsky at Black Wolf Touring and Custom. He’s a long time member, has done a couple of projects for the Foundation and is top notch.

This is what I'm looking for here in the US. (See and click the link above, gramps)

Frankly, I'm amazed at how hard it is to find a quality custom BMW bike builder here in the US. to spend money on...

For the record: I've contacted Bay City Restorations (the US builder whose bike I covet) multiple times, and he's not interested in selling the bike.

I can find numerous bikes online similar to this build, but the BMW builders are located in various and sundry locations all throughout Europe, ranging from France, Spain, Netherlands, and Estonia...with the associated shipping costs.

    Sir Ted of Greer,
    Thanks for the recommendation.

After a quick perusal of the website, Black Wolf doesn't seem to build the type of bike I'm interested in...(see my previous post).

Thank you very much for the input,

I custom tailor each bike to whatever the client wants. Feel free to email me at info@blackwolftandc.com and we can chat.

PS I am currently building a very very similar bike to the one in your post. It went to powdercoat yesterday. I can certainly make one happen for you.
